Welcome to Mosman Junior Rugby Club

Registration

NOW OPEN! 2024 WINTER COMP REGISTRATIONS

Welcome to the 2024 Rugby Season!

We are excited to welcome you to the Mosman Junior Rugby Club as either a player, volunteer or sideline supporter.

As per the Australian Rugby regulations, MJRC uses a web-based program called Rugby Xplorer to manage all registrations. This is a requirement of Rugby Australia, and for insurance purposes we cannot accept any players until full registration and payment of fees is competed via this process.

If you haven’t already, we recommend downloading the free app via the app store or alternatively, you can log on via your desktop at https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/

We aim to make this as easy for you as possible. Please find full step-by-step instructions below, and if you need any help, please don’t hesitate to reach out at registrar@mjrc.com.au

Please note, your fee is broken into several parts with Mosman Junior Rugby Club, Sydney Junior Rugby Union, NSW Rugby Union and Rugby Australia each receiving a portion. This covers all participation costs including players kit, balls and field equipment, training, club house rental and field hire, match day officials, management of competitions and all insurances. It is important to note that in the event of a refund, MJRC can only approve the portion of the fees paid to the club.

So let’s get started!

HOW TO REGISTER

STEP 1 of 3

There are three key registration groups.

Under 6 and Under 7s → 7-a-side Touch Footy

Under 8 and Under 9s → Minis Tackle Competition

Under 10 – Under 16s → Graded SJRU Tackle Competition

Age is determined by the age the child will turn during their 2024 birthday. PLEASE NOTE that Rugby Xplorer may auto-assign the age group based on the birth date entered. For those playing in a different age group, please email registrar@mjrc.com.au so we can manually change the registration.

STEP 2 of 3

We are delighted to accept NSW Active Kids vouchers as part of your payment. Please make sure you have this handy prior to commencing registration, as it cannot be added retrospectively. To do this you will need your child’s height and weight and some forms of ID. Click here for the Active Kids Voucher.

STEP 3 of 3

Go to the Rugby Xplorer app, or https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au

Use your previous Rugby ID# to register if you are a returning player. This will appear under your name in the ‘My Profile’ screen in your Rugby Xplorer portal. This ID also appears under the participants name when choosing who to register. If you cannot remember your rugby ID#, you should be able to search using your linked email address.

If you have not registered previously, please create an account for yourself (the parent/guardian first – and then any child as linked accounts to your master account). Note, as this is a junior’s program, the system requires that parents/guardians must also have an account, and then the child will be automatically linked to the parent account as per previous registrations. If your child isn’t found and have registered before please search for them before creating a new account as they risk losing their historical data if you create a new ID.

Under 10’s and above are required to have a ‘public’ passport style photo (requirement of the graded competition), so please snap your favourite photo of your son/daughter (head and shoulders), and upload when you register.

More detailed instructions on how to use Rugby Xplorer can be viewed here.

Help with Rugby Xplorer can be found here help.xplorer.rugby/s/

This has lots of useful information including how to change email addresses etc from previous registrations.

If you have any other questions, please email us at registrar@mjrc.com.au

All committee members are volunteers, but we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. Please allow a little extra time over the holiday season.

We look forward to welcoming you to MJRC for a great season of rugby in 2024
